Who am I?
Hello, I’m Jay Clark, I’m a freelance logo and brand identity designer. My passion for creating comes from expression, but I began creating at a young age with a simple sketchbook. I filled pages with drawings of basketball shoes, video game characters, and portraits, and sold them to my family for a few bucks.
Eventually, I learned a few adobe programs in high school and that introduced me to the digital world. After college, I worked in premium hotels and resorts which opened my eyes to minimalism, the significance of value and helping others. I believe great design isn’t about decoration. It’s about clarity, simplicity, and connection. Every mark and color choice should reflect purpose, not guesswork.
I aim to solve business solutions for mindful innovators and small business owners so they can overcome the challenge of having an inconsistent, or unmemorable brand identity. I love turning complex stories into timeless, intentional logos that communicate value at a glance.
I started from a few passion projects that quickly grew into a deeper calling, which is to create brand identities that feel balanced, modern, and meaningful. Every project begins with understanding the heart behind the business, then crafting a design built to last beyond trends.
Today, my focus is creating logos that do more than look good; they speak for you, so your brand presence feels confident, grounded, and unmistakably yours.

Color Blindness is a strength…
-
Sharing that I’m colorblind makes me stand out and helps people remember me for my work.
-
As a colorblind Designer, I focus on strong contrast instead of just color, so my designs are easy for everyone to see and enjoy.
-
I keep things simple and clean, using shapes more than lots of colors — perfect for clients who love modern, minimal styles.
